As we all know the biggest room in the world is room for improvement, with the purpose of contributing to fundamental research and to meet industrial requirement the Department of Computer Science & Engineering initiated in the first post graduate course M-Tech in Computer Science & Engineering in the year 2012. The team of well experienced self-motivated faculties orient the students in the right research direction, which will enable the students to leave their signature in the frontier areas of computing. Department promote post graduate research through their faculty centric research group viz.

Data mining and Data warehousing research group
Operating system research group.
Computer architecture group
Compiler construction group.
With the purpose of quality education post graduate students are provided with multimedia class rooms, specialised computing facility and access to department libraries other than central library. Academic projects are another milestone where students are technically challenged during the implementation and evaluation.
